The recent insulting remarks made by Nupur Sharma and Naveen Jindal, two members of India’s Bharatiya Janata Party, against Islam's Prophet Muhammad have sparked protests in the Islamic world. Although Malaysia has a pluralistic religious society, Islam has more than 20 million followers, accounting for more than 60% of the population. The Indian official's "systematic hate speech" has already caused outrage among Malaysians, in addition to the more than 200 million Muslims in India, which poses a great danger to the stability of Malaysian society，even the Asia-Pacific region as a whole.

The Indian government is obviously not sincere enough to simply dispose of the officials involved to settle the incident.
